That's likely because the Apple Order Status Checker doesn't know how to handle this kind of status. Just wait and seeAlways trust the delivery carrier's status
phew that was scary for a moment. It switched back on the Apple page and has also been sorted at Leipzig hub now after being „on hold“ for a short time

Interesting, they're using DHL as well as UPS...At least DHL provides details on shipping, there's "waiting for UPS" on our side
Yep, I highly prefer DHL Express over UPS, just because their tracking is a little more reliable/transparent and they are faster in my opinion.
the only thing I don’t like is that DHL shows up at like 4 or 5 pm here in Berlin but better late than not at all I guess 😁 just takes some getting used to. Back when I was living in Stuttgart, DHL would show up at like 10 or 11 am
Yep this is normal when Apple ships with DHL Express in the Netherlands. The main sorting hub for DHL Express in the Netherlands is actually in Brussels, so it goes there and then will go back to the Netherlands during the night
Has it ever happened before that Apple does not deliver the phone on release date? My phone is shipped with UPS to Germany.
I am also one of those "UPS label created" guys. But what is weird is that this was created around 6am and before 7:45am, after turning off flight mode, I got a text message from upsPkginfo that I will receive my package tomorrow between 12pm-4pm. So they must have received the package otherwise they wouldn't send me a text message with delivery time for the next day, which btw I never have gotten before with UPS. I think there is something wrong with their system.
Not sure to be honest, all my preorders in the past 4 years were always delivered on time. Do you have the same status as I do?
Yes I have the same status! It must be a problem in UPS Systems. I’m confident we’ll all get our phones tomorrow.

My DHL status still shows "Processed at MILAN - MALPENSA - ITALY" and is stuck there since 5pm. Probably will update during the night I hope 🤞
Well, it didn’t move yet, mine still says it is being processed in Brussels, but usually it should have been transported from Brussel to Eindhoven this night.
