European Sources Point to White iPhone 4 Launch on April 27th

Some observers had speculated that Apple might cancel the device entirely given an expected launch of the fifth-generation iPhone just a few months down the road, but it increasingly appears that Apple will not be introducing the fifth-generation iPhone until the September timeframe.

Seems like Apple could have left the colors to after-market suppliers, for those customers desperate for a certain look.

I'm so surprised that no one is claiming that the white iPhone will be the next model released. Lots of rumors out there that the next version of the iPhone will not be a major release, but simply a specs upgrade. That seems to me the perfect time to "launch" the white iPhone.

I honestly don't see the big deal behind this. I prefer the black model anyways.

Personal preference. I've been waiting since day one of the iPhone 4 launch to replace my 3GS with a white iPhone 4. I'm happy that I'll finally be able to do that.

Actually does anyone really care ok fan-boys need not apply. I see nothing special about it. Now the iPad white is cool but a white iPhone just seems well as you said anti-climatic.

Anyone who waited obviously did not like the black one. If you don't like a product and can't see yourself getting used to it, you wouldn't buy it. So why is anyone vain or foolish for not buying a product they wouldn't be completely satisfied with?

Anyway, I wanted the white one, but I got the black, as I settled. So I can't wait to buy this baby the day it comes out! I don't like the new proximity sensor though (from 'leaked' pictures).

thank you. I am so f$&^ing sick of reading all the less then negative attitude posts about the white iphone. I guess the folks making those posts feel compelled to tell everyone the world according to them is black, black or black.
