And you are welcome to do so. Turns out that Eve is not actually forcing anyone to buy the device if they don't want to. It doesn't interest me much.

On the other hand, I DO like the internal version of the device, the updated Eve Room, that gives you humidity and temperature. And yes, if you feel you would rather just listen to your body and not use a machine you are welcome to do so.
The rest of us, meanwhile, appreciate, among other things, the graphs that can be drawn allowing one to see if their trends of interest (was last year this time hotter than this year?), and the ability to trigger automations (switch on the humidifier if humidity gets below 45%).

This would be more welcome news if my Eve Aqua hadn’t died after 6 months of basic usage. Waste of $100 sadly for a great concept

Have you contacted them about a replacement? My experience is that they are pretty responsive.

You're able to determine overnight or weekly rain accumulation totals and peak wind speeds while you were asleep this way?

Nice trick.

Rest of us need gadgetry to see daily/weekly/monthly rain accumulation and peak wind speeds in a storm, particularly when we're not at home.

I always wonder why people want to know. I can just look outside the window and see it's raining. Am I missing something here?
