I know it has been mentioned that it is currently not possible to remove and change the SSD in the Air; however, will this eventually be possible? I recall it became possible for the previous generation Air's....

Just want to know because I'm not sure how long the 128GB SSD option will last me, and don't want to shell out the extra 300-400 it is to upgrade for the 256GB, would rather wait for a larger/more reasonably priced 3rd party option.

Thank you in advance!

The cost of those upgrades doesn't ever make it worth it IMO. You're better off selling your existing MBA after a year and getting a new one, assuming they bump the SSD size up. And with the way prices are falling, I wouldn't be surprised to see 256MB as the new baseline size in 2013.
