I always bring my 10" tablet to bed before sleep, there have been many times where I've almost dropped it my face when it's time to doze off. But I never have... yet. Now I got the smaller & lighter tablet and worry less about breaking my nose or tooth. :apple:

I make sure its far enough back so when it does fall it is short of my face :). Happens all the time

I don't hold my tablet above my face when I'm in bed, haha. I usually lay on my back and bend my knees up and rest it against my knees, sit up, and keep it on my lap, or I just put it on an angle at the side of me to use. Don't kid yourself, the iPad mini is still capable of knocking a tooth off if you drop it on your face.

I've seen other people do it, but never done it myself. But then, as the poster above says, I never hold it up above my head.

Almost several times. Good thing the iPad 2 is heavy so it woke me up when I lost balance..

no, but I have woken up to some very interesting positions with my iPad and iPhone...

My iPad had several near death experiences sleeping with me. Then I got a Hover Bar. Have mentioned this on some other threads .... The HB clamps into bedside table and so my iPad is very secure, perfect angle, easily adjustable.

I haven't dropped a tablet on my face yet.

But wanted to mention I was dozing off in bed last week and ended up dropping it on my groin. Hurt for a little bit.

iPhone/iPod Touch - Yes. iPad - almost. I usually have the iPad resting on my chest or stomach area when watching Netflix or using it otherwise before going to sleep so if I do nod off then it just falls forward or backward and misses my face. A few times, though, it's been pretty close.
