Has anyone else and this issue? I am receiving hits in spotlight search on old notes that no longer exist in Evernote. When I click on them Evernote just opens up to the main window, not the note (because the note it's trying to open is not there anymore). I'm not sure whether it is an old tag being detected (that also no longer exists in the Evernote tags) or if it's getting the old note name (aka filename).

Did you try to rebuild the spotlight index
Apple KB

  1. From the Apple () menu, choose System Preferences.
  2. Click Spotlight.
  3. Click the Privacy tab.
  4. Drag a folder or an entire volume (your hard drive) to the list.
  5. If prompted for confirmation, click OK.
  6. Remove the item or volume you just added to the list by clicking it and then clicking the minus ("-") button.
  7. Close Spotlight preferences.

Now it's not showing at all in Spotlight, any way to have it access Evernote again?

Have you emptied the trash folder in Evernote? I'll bet it's in there still.

Sorry for not updating this post guys, I actually fixed this issue.

I uninstalled the App store version of Evernote and deleted ALL the evernote related files on my system.. every single one of them. Then installed the Evernote from the website and now all is working normally.
