What's so great about USB-C? Most products are still on Lightening so having one product (or maybe two) on USB-C is just annoying and requires adaptors.

I don't need or want it either. I have zero USB-C cables or devices that actually use USB-C. Everything is Lightning-to-USB-A, including my PC (Gaming on Mac sucks) which is USB-A, my Lightning Dock is also Lightning obviously and my wireless charger has a Micro-USB to USB-A port to charge. Was a cheap one, but it works. The only thing i would like would be an increased speed when transfering stuff that USB-C would offer. But the rest i don't miss, i guess USB-C is a must for those with Android phones, MacBooks and/or iPad Pros.

The iPad mini is flawless and that's a hill I'm willing to die on.
  • Too small? I think you mean portable.
  • Not quick enough? You're too quick.
  • No Apple Pencil 2 support? Apple Pencil 1 is cheaper.
  • No FaceID? TouchID mate.
Need I say more?

I'll kill you on that hill: if you use the pencil to any significant degree (especially for diagrams, sketches, mapping things out, etc.), even the 10-11 inch machines are too small.

haha. the pencil nearly the same height.I used for note tacking not drawing.

I love my iPad Pro 10.5 but the white patches above the home button are irksome. Sadly it didn’t occur (or I didn’t notice) until long after my warranty had expired. It‘s noticeable less often with dark mode in iOS 13. I just live with it until the next time I choose to upgrade.

I agree with your first point but your other three points are silly, especially your second point. Points 3 and 4 are subjective as well.

I was for the most part joking; for some the iPad mini 5 isn’t quite right and that’s okay.
Oh ok. I personally adore the mini. However, I got the air 3 due to the larger screen. I needed a larger screen for my math notes.

It’s nothing like that. I love using my iPad and it always helped me getting my work done. I’m saying it’s too bad that Most of the current lineup is not reliable enough in terms of built quality.

You should get AC+. I upgrade my iPads every cycle so I've been fortunate to not have any build quality issues, but there's been a lot of feedback in the forums about various problems with iPad QC - AC+ helps mitigate that by extending manufacturer's warranty to 2 years (and adds accidental damage coverage as well)
