Every time I right click, it highlights everything.

I know that generally double clicking a word in a web browser hightlights it, but my Mac has been higlighting things when I right click them. I know this didn't happen before. I think I may have accidentally changed a setting. Can anybody help me with this?

My Magic Mouse is doing funny things as well. The Left click acts as a Right click sometimes. (Trust me, nothing touching the right side, just my finger pushing down on left side).

This just started happening to me yesterday I believe. That's when I noticed it at least (considering how finicky I am about this sort of thing, it's a good bet). The only thing I've really tried is a system reset to no avail. It happens in both Chrome and Safari, but I haven't tried in Opera, FF, or any others. I'd very much like to know what's up.

yep this is really annoying. i just want to be able to paste without using keyboard shortcuts. Right now the only non-keyboard option that i know of is to add a space after the text where you would like to paste, then right-click in that space, then paste, then go back and re-add a space in front of your pasted text (because the original space is deleted because of this issue).

How about having right-click select the word IF you click on the word, but not select or highlight anything if you click on a blank space. anyone figure this out yet?

Edit > Paste is probably a better option there.
