Good morning friends ...

While everything apple announced was good... I see a perfectly concealed hardware decision behind project Catalyst.
Be ready to see an A-series chip based MacBooks soon, and a complete transition away from intel in the coming years.
All the best Apple.

wow 6 grand just a computer.. To upgrade a whole 6 team it will be 5 years to cope back :(

Indeed. It’s like they were announcing Rosetta but in reverse.

Have to say this WWDC had more announcements that any other WWDC in recent times that I can remember. Tim Cook didn't waste time at the beginning throwing out meaningless iPhone and iOS and Apps sales stats up on the screen. It's a good thing that the keynote featured products more than metrics for Wall Street investors.

Can’t get the keynote here yet either and it’s hours and hour since the event.

Also wondering why the iPhone 6 wont get the iOS 13 upgrade and yet the iPad Mini 4 gets the iPad OS upgrade ...

Same chip in both. I wonder if it’s because they’ve only just stopped selling the iPad Mini 4 that they felt they couldn’t just abandon it in terms of updates.

Disappointed in that respect although I had suspected that the later updates for my iPhone 6 might be the last.

This was the best WWDC they've done in recent memory. Every SW product line was updated in at least a few useful ways.

Wondering the same thing. They're never uploaded this late.
They're busy scrubbing out the awkward reaction from the crowd after revealing the $999 monitor stand. Still rendering on the new Mac Pro…

Apple knocked it out of the park with this WWDC. Unlike that snooze fest I/O last month.

The sheer volume of complaints here and on other forums is all the proof you need. Nobody complains about a has-been or whoever’s in second place - they only complain about who’s on top. And Apple gave them lots to complain about.

Yes, it's almost Tuesday on the east coast of the U.S. and still no video replay of Monday's keynote from Apple.

I can remember from years and years ago at a WWDC when the video production team at Apple had a session where they claimed that their new video workflow would result in near realtime posting of the WWDC sessions. What happened to that goal or claim?

What's even worse is that Apple's main site has been showing a full-screen announcement for the keynote video for hours and yet the link leads to a statement that simply says, "...today’s event will be available shortly." Not much short of the dreaded 404 error.

Eight and a half hours later. Same message. (I’m in the UK)

Did someone at Apple forget to record the stream?
[doublepost=1559620585][/doublepost]Partial stream here:

[removed as official stream up]

Starts at 11 minutes in. Some audio issues and ends before the Mac stuff, but still more watchable than no stream.

Swift & Catalyst demo was impressive. Pretty sure MSFT's move to Chromium reflects Nadella's desire to get fully behind WebAssembly and PWAs. If Chromium is part of Window's core, many current issues are addressed and PWAs will shine. Will Apple modify its OSes and Safari to optimally support highly-performant PWAs ?? Will developers prefer the benefits of S&C and Apple's ecosystem vs. the broader market ?? What about Fuschia: WA & PWAs ?? Going to be interesting as the big players position themselves for the next generation of apps. I think Google & MSFT are betting on WA & PWA while Apple is going all in on leveraging its massive hware base (Swift on Windows by Apple???). Interesting.

So. tvOS will support two BT game controllers on an ATV4K. iOS will support two BT headsets. Anyone know if tvOS will support two BT headsets?

If they weren't all negative, he would have probably tried to show it again!
