iPod touch Everything keeps crashing

This stupid iPod has every app crash on me which requires me to respring twice a day, which is starting to become ridiculous. Now I do have 5.1 and am waiting for it to be untethered, which is why it has been turned off in awhile. But could that attribute to it acting like this?

My ipod does that alot for me. I think it is because of the jb. But a better way then respring for me is the actually turn it fully off "slide to power off" for a few mins then when its on it runs smoothly. I usually do this couple times a day.
