The TV app getting a 'Store' tab (with a nice simple 'Movies'/'TV Shows' toggle, too) is a really good improvement. I suppose this will mark the true end of the usefulness of the iTunes Store app (at least for those of us who use Music).
Have you noticed that if you search for a box set on the iTunes Store, different results can be displayed on the Apple TV app? When purchasing Fawlty Towers, I had the option to buy each series separately when looking on the TV app, but had the option to buy them together as a complete collection on the iTunes Store.

I want the old Videos app back so I can open it and see nothing other than my purchases instead of what’s on BBC, iTV, channel 4, channel 5, Disney plus as well as prompts to join Apple TV+.

It’s just bloatware now.
I think you can stop them from being shown via the account section. I went to turn off My5 and this came up:

Anyone else have problems with HomeKit and hue lamps not available?

Usually restarting the Home app works for me. This has been the case since iOS 14 for me. When using 3rd party apps like Home+ 5 multiple Hue devices are not responding, especially when not connected to the local network.

There's are additional problems with HK setting parameters of Hue lamps.
1- Lamps that have been deleted from scenes still will be changed in level, colour and Adaptive Lighting by that same scene.
2- Adjusting more than 5 Hue lamps in one scene fails; it will fail to set random parameters of random lamps.
3- Running tvOS, iOS 15.0 communication between Hue hub and HK had issues. Rebooting the hub did help for a few days, but eventually triggers (by light switches) were ignored randomly again. With 15.1 this was solved.

So I can sit on a train and disable everyone’s AirTags ???!
Technically after a few hours:
Yes, you probably can find those tags, and take out the battery.

However, if you're trying to reach for my AirTag you get into trouble.

Apple is getting rid of User reviews. E.G. the Apple Store App got rid of the Star rating and reviews. Now they get rid of reviews with the integration of the Store into the TV app, which only implies Rotten Tomato reviews. But one becomes completely blind of faulty offers like a Film bundle with one in 4K and 2 other in HD, while on the store exist a second version of the same film, offered in 4K… this is sad ?

Anyone trust apple on the communication safety thing?

I’m sticking to 15.1 until I’m happy that my phone isn’t deliberately spying on me.

Is there a jailbreak that fully disables communication safety? I’m aware tHe article states it’s optional for adults but that requires people to trust that statement is true.

If this update doesn’t solve the many issues with Homekit such as Siri babbling on about how she’s still trying to do something after it’s already been done, automations not triggering, etc. I am officially done with HomeKit and going back to Google or Alexa.

Apple has made a complete mess of HomeKit in iOS15 and broken so many things. I honestly don’t know why they bothered joining the Matter initiative when their base system is such a mess. The Home app is an absolute disgrace and Apple should be ashamed to not refer to it as a beta.

The one thing I did, recreate some scenes that were broken. It turns out that scenes created/edited in iOS13 or 14 left some hidden data/parameters. Deleting the whole scene was the only option. Homekit scripts seem to work again in 15.1.

Where possible I moved Hue light automations back to the Hue hub, unfortunately HK still cannot access Hue's scenes and options. I would like to set Hue's fade rate and the colour animation option too.

If you really care about this, you come off as a really shady individual. This is meant to protect children from potential abuse. If you don’t do anything shady, you have nothing to worry about with regards to this feature.

But what happens, when I begin to receive spam from 200 random (but forgotten) emails?

? they fixed the music app locking up in CarPlay.
Unless this is a fix for Carplay crashing every 3 minutes. I literally don't GAF about any of these "updates". Apple support even admits is a problem. Fixing an existing feature that is broken should be taking precedent over rolling out new features.

It is completely unacceptable though that you have to create all your automations again every year.

Lot of great features, but as long as CSAM is still being talked about an is still in development, I'm not sure Ill be updating. I do not appreciate a back door being added to my phone, regardless of the do-gooderism involved.
