That workaround didnt work for me. But I did find a workaround what works for me: Add the new “type to Siri” button to control center and tap on it. Now the new Siri animation is back and I can type to Siri when double tapping the navigation bar again.
doesn't work for me...

But it seems the AI model is still downloading. I added the button for visual intelligence to the control center. Tabbed on this and now I geht the message, that it is downloading.

Can I see somewhere how far the download is? I don't find anything in AI settings.

That is also maybe the reason why my phone is stuttering sometimes...

New emojis shouldn’t be at the top…I’m questioning if it should even be ON THE LIST at all. Is it even eh..relevant to an iOS update? I’m just you know, asking here.

Know what would be great in phone is a built in low power feature phone so battery life can be enhanced for a week of so of use in an emergency . Maybe oled would be appropriate for this but.

If I remember this correctly than Samsung had this a while ago. A super low power mode with only basic functions and a simple UI.
Pretty sure this was part of the Galaxy s3 (or s7).

We want a spell checker that doesn’t need a spell checker, Siri that wasn’t lobotomized in a back alley, Maps that don’t double as a survival challenge, and Widgets that aren’t just static PNGs. Maybe even iCloud that syncs faster than a carrier pigeon and iMessage that doesn’t act like Android users are untouchables. But nah, Apple heard us loud and clear and gave us a ****ing Vision Pro app.

These capabilities of Siri aren’t still available. Probably with 18.5 or even later.

iCloud sluggishness in 2025 is worse than 60hz screen on an iPhone 16.

Nope, those are postponed again. Will be released (seeing is believing) in 19.4 in 2026. While writing this you should expect its a joke, but it’s real. Apple is holding a carrot 🥕 for the donkeys 🫏.

A chat gpt like Siri is delayed for such a long time but the on screen awareness most likely is coming with 18.5 - that was what I meant.

They are both worse. It’s a shame a company can get away with that in 2025.
60 hz is simply a joke. None of the big suppliers will produce a 60 hz display anymore. It’s most likely a simple software limitation and only done by apple to give the Pro models an exclusive feature.
Every 200€ Android phone has a 120 hz display.

Then they should have it as a paid upgrade, for those that want. Perhaps 25% will. Still shiddy but, sure I’d pay…but it’s beneath a company of Apples stature to release anything 60 in 2025.

That’s exactly what they don’t want. If you want a „current-gen“ display in an iPhone you need to pay the Pro upgrade.
Curious how they will handle this with the 17 models. But nevertheless it’s already ridiculous.
