The fact that we don't have the option to at least hide this screen is pretty annoying. I get some people use the app library, but I have never used it.So Apple still won’t allow us to delete the App Library. Thanks to so much, Tim!
I literally hate "app library". I don't use it and don't want to even see it. How hard is it for Apple to allow a HIDE on this???The fact that we don't have the option to at least hide this screen is pretty annoying. I get some people use the app library, but I have never used it.
From the beta notes, looks like US only. So looks to be removed in the beta for other countries. From Japan.... Satellite S.O.S does not show on thia new beta..??? just me?.....
Yes iOS 18.1 Developer Beta. Are you on 18.1 Beta? This is an update for the vanilla 18 beta. I suspect that the next 18.1 beta will include these changes.
Or iPhone to iPad!PSA:
iCloud Mail still doesn't sync notification badges between iOS and macOS
Same here. None of my devices are prompting to update with all of them stating that everything is up to date.Didn't see an update yesterday or today. Still says iOS 18.1 and macOS 15.1 still.
you do you, but how often are you really accidentally swiping over that far where it's this problematic?I literally hate "app library". I don't use it and don't want to even see it. How hard is it for Apple to allow a HIDE on this???
I'm on PB2 and it's far more stable than when I was on 17.5.1....battery life is a bit better as well. How stable are the betas right now? More about the apps working, I understand clearly the idea of beta software but are there any show stoppers with major apps or the system itself? This is the first year i haven’t jumped on it.
Cheers for the info.I'm on PB2 and it's far more stable than when I was on 17.5.1....battery life is a bit better as well.
This annoyed me more than it should have!My recently used emojis are back with this beta. The previous two had a static list of emojis I didn't even use.
Now if only they would have made the search icon in the Photos app a little larger than a grain of sand, since I usually press the select or profile buttons instead - it's maddening!
