I had the opposite reaction to picking up an iOS18, it just looks more mature and properly designed than iOS26

Does anyone know what this little A is on the space bar? Wasn't there in Beta 1 and idk why but it's bothering me that it's there now lol

Where is the option to let Siri scan your email for the wallet app? I don't see it.

EDIT: Nevermind. I found it right after posting this. It isn't in the Settings portion, you go into the wallet app and hit the ...

Weird, I don't have it on any keyboard on beta 2. I wonder if it's some accessibility setting or something. Do you have more than one language keyboard on your phone?
 
Beta 2 on my iPhone 15 Pro and iPad Pro works very good for a beta. The only problem I have at the moment is, that I see around 30 App Store Updates but it's not possible to update them. Just a circle is spinning around. On iPad no problems. I logged out and in again my accouont, but no changes.
 
I expect and hope for liquid glass to get gradually de-glassed with each beta release until it’s basically iOS 18 by release time

I guess it’s sexier to corrupt an established and effective look/feel than to simply add features and squash bugs. Doesn’t 3D use more clock cycles and battery than 2D?
 
I am on iPhone13. Double back tap not working if set taking screenshot on my device after beta2.

Battery life is worse than first beta I think.
 
I’ve had the widgets one the bottom of the Home Screen, spatial image wallpapers, and wallet shipping tracking since day one of beta 1
 
Really nice that now when I click on selected text the pop-up menu’s a scrollable vertical list. I no longer have to tap right multiple times through groups of three menu items to reach the one I want.
Well implemented!

This is huge, the garage door control from homekit that pops up as you arrive home now has three dots that allows you to scroll thru all available garage doors!!

one more addition, with the multiple garage doors...if you hold your finger on one door for a few seconds a pop-up appears that offers to "Clear for this drive"

On my Palisade the two stacks look terrible. Three was perfect. Honestly i no longer use it -
