Bring back Bluetooth icon on status bar... Wi-fi is there,, so i don't get why Bluetooth was omitted. Surly, If people like the Wi-fi icon as a gauge their connected, the same must also be true for Bluetooth looking in the status bar no?

Do people really use the native apple mail app? It is probably their worst designed and least functional app. I've been using Outlook for years and absolutely love it. It has it's annoyances here and there but it is 100x better than what Apple has created for mail. Everyone I've convinced to ditch Apple mail and switch to Outlook notices an immediate improvement in mail functionality. It's comical when non-tech savvy folks start using it and realize how bad Apple mail is.

Do cars that have keyless entry use NFC? Just trying to determine if my car has NFC.
My 2018 Honda Accord has NFC functionality however that is for Android devices to quickly pair with the car's Bluetooth. This concept of NFC enabled vehicles to start the engine is at least 3-4 years out.

The only manufacturer I can think of that does this is Telsa on the Model 3 and I have to imagine they won't enable this ever. Especially since they don't have Carplay.

BMW has had digital key feature for a while now. But it's only available on some Samsung Galaxy smartphones. But my car comes with a digital card key that works just as an NFC key.
I'm hoping that this new CarKey feature is compatible but it'll probably take BMW ages to enable it.
With the Digital Key on your Android™ smartphone* or the BMW Key Card, you always have key-free access in your pocket. This digital car key allows you to lock and unlock your BMW without the standard key. You can even start the engine by placing your phone in the wireless charging tray.

*The BMW Digital Key is compatible for all NFC-capable Samsung Galaxy smartphones running Android 8.0 and above. Compatibility is limited to select carriers.

I’ve ditched Gmail and have been using it for many years now with my @me address. And to add, no issues with it for me.

Anyone else HATE that the delete icon moved in mail app? I am constantly hitting reply/flag when I want to delete the email. makes me want to revert back and never go forward

You know how they have some companies come up on stage that introduce new tech or games or something? I wish they would just simply work with a manufacturer or 2 to develop an aftermarket ‘kit’ for this new NFC car stuff! But alas, we will no doubt have to wait 4 years for something like that to come out and be reasonably affordable! ie not $2k but maybe around $500. One can hope!

1 new setting and moving an icon around in a toolbar? Cmon - .X releases in the past have brought more than this.
Do you expect that the visible changes that beta testers have observed in the past couple hours constitute everything that's been changed? I'd be happy with a beta that had no outwardly visible differences - no new settings or icons - but fixed a bunch of bugs.

Is this new in 13.4?

I don’t recall that ‘Good Morning’ screen showing the weather info before.
I get that when I wake up in the morning (using Apple's Bedtime alarm feature) - not with that temperature though 🥶

You're seeing skin-deep stuff. Not every change is visual. There are likely dozens of under-the-hood fixes and improvements that don't involve things that you can touch and see.

That Mail toolbar is supposed to be contextual, so putting a "Compose" button on there when you're viewing a single message is confusing. People might think that it's a way to reply to the current message, when in fact you'd be starting an entirely new message/conversation.

Not happy with some of Apple's recent divergence from user interface guidelines, but they still adhere to a higher standard than other platforms.

Finally get the Flag icon back, and they take it away again! It takes so much fiddlef*cking to flag an email on my phone, I just wait until I'm at my computer again. So sick of them overthinking everything and fixing things that aren't broken. Also, lose the stupid flag icon or at least restore my ability to choose!

I‘ve been using the native Apple Mail app on iOS and MacOS for years. Both have been user friendly, functional, reliable and trustworthy. While there have been occasional hiccups, these have been temporary and not significant enough to cause consideration of anything else.

Am I reading this right? iCloud folder sharing?! Isn’t that a huge deal?

Same. I couldn’t imagine using anything but Apple mail. Every time I see anyone using other mail solutions I’m baffled, but to each their own.

The best thing you can do for the mail app is remove it. Seriously, if you're still using Mail, find some alternatives and delete iOS Mail. Google the top 5 iOS mail apps and you'll get a nice breakdown of features. Trust me, you will wish you did this years ago. Mail on iOS and MacOS are complete garbage, always have been. I finally got tired of waiting for my mail to get delivered to my box that was shown to me on my lock screen, but somehow not in the app yet. I would also see "last checked at 9:35AM" in the late afternoon. I installed Spark and a few others and I will never go back. I ended up settling on Spark in the end, but Outlook was even a huge improvement. OUTLOOK.

The iPad OS TV App. The first thing they need to do is to fix the library view in offline mode (the actual mode people use an iPad).

It is, indeed, potentially a big deal - dropbox functionality without Dropbox.

How to get this screen?
Use the Clock app’s Bedtime feature, and make sure it has access to the weather data. When your alarm goes off in the morning, this is the screen you’ll see after hitting the “off” button. The bedtime feature has worked out better than I expected.

Finally, there is an option to use cellular for apple tv+ downloads.
I was so frustrated that it was not a thing since day 1.

I'd happy if they'd just fix the battery drain issue that plagues my X and SE. The latest batch of updates literally made my devices unusable. My X usually finished the day with 30% left, now I need to top it off in the afternoon to get me through. My SE lasted 3 days on standby, now only one. My Apple Watch gave me 2 days or more, but now the battery drains to 18% by 9PM.

iOS 13.4b2 not as good as b1 ... some messaging bugs (delayed launch/load) ... and app counter stuck at 1 ... but hey, no data drop when going into and out of wifi and lte

Could care less about the new features, it would be nice to fix the networking nightmare they have created. Fix the Wifi/Airplay intermittent problems and battery drain, please.

The data features seem like good additions but they also seem like they are no-brainer features that should have been added a while back? Either way I'm happy with more options.

I do love my unlimited data 5G account for $50 a month.

Can’t wait to stream HD content while on the go.

Always remember to check the fine print, when the cell carriers offer "unlimited data" they always mean "to a point and then we'll slow you down to 3G speeds for the remainder of the month"

I’m more focused on the one degree. Screw that.

You get used to it. It's not too bad as long as there isn't much wind.
[automerge]1582227401[/automerge]
hah. same.

I've seen the 'Good Morning' message before plenty, but never with the Weather info, and I didn't change any settings since upgrading to 13.4.

Anywho, kind of a nice feature (if it works consistently)

I have never changed anything about my alarms/bedtime/etc. and I've always had the weather since they came out with it. It'd be nice if it was consistent, and no one seems to know how to force it to show up like that.

Apple, sod the new tool bar!!! Is Push working properly now? And are Reminders and Calendar entries syncing properly across devices yet?
