I can nit pick, but what about the ability to add your own fonts to the Lock Screen. Adding Fonts to the iPhone came out in iOS13, so why not give us that option to add our own clock font?

Right now, the new default lock screen clock fonts are ok I guess, just wish we had a few more. (As a total font geek, this is just my opinion)

It does seem they took a lot of those fonts from Apple Watches and placed them into the lock screen.

It seems that for a while now Apple adds something that could be cool but half-asses it after the initial introduction.

Apple should allow other wallets to be used on iPhone, including crypto wallets. I know crypto is down right now so everyone is dunking on it but crypto payments will be a big thing in the coming years. Hopefully Apple supports crypto payments directly from the wallet in the future. There is a company right now working on an SDK to allow just that and the payments settle instantly with fees several times lower than what traditional credit card companies charge. It's going to be game changing for companies in the future.

Anyone have screenshot of battery% on iphone 11? I want to know if it looks crisp or not

I hope that they fix the regression where you can't:
  • Pick an Apple supplied picture for your home screen that's different to your lockscreen
  • The automatic switch to dark mode versions of Apple supplied wallpapers is gone.
    • You can't even make an automation that switches to a darker wallpaper/lockscreen at sundown using either the options in focus (you can pick a particular time though - but not 'sundown') or in shortcuts. This seems such a weird regression.

How would they even know? WAGs?
Your own utility should have the info. Also, there are apps with maps showing energy gen sources. I use an energy provider via my utility co that is sourced in hydro, wind, solar, and prioritizes those sources over gas/coal.

App Library search bar has a bug, it goes behind top bar.

Reported to Apple.

Is adding the option to delete the Wallet app Apple’s solution for the monopoly instead of giving third party wallets the power to use NFC? Or has this already been added?

Not here. We have “green” feed into the grid but nothing that says “you are now using elec from solar”.
Also to do this Apple would have to tap into or have the ability to know what provider and account type you are using.
Apple does not have nor will I give access to my SCE account. Not even sure if they would allow it.

Call me skeptical at the moment.

If you're still swiping your cards, yes, I would call that primitive. Are there cards even made without chips now?

I could reach them better at the top than the bottom. When holding the phone in one hand, my thumb rests above the top half of the screen, not at the bottom.
Yes the terminals ahoulsn't even allow you to swipe if they take chips. Only way is if your card's chips fails three times. Swiping is one of the easiest ways to get frauded.

But there are a good number of readers in use that are not tap compatible.
But there's an in between: readers that accept chip cards (weren't they mandated a couple of years ago?). Not necessarily tap, just slide into the chip card reader.

How about a simple freaking "Close All" button to close all open apps at once? The fact you still have to flip through the crazy amount of open apps individually to close them is insane.

How about bringing back the quick button for Voice Memos instead of having 2 buttons that do the same thing?

congrats on having an energy source that is consistent and reliable. As for the clean energy charging stuff, LOL, call me when these energy sources become truly reliable and efficient. I would love to have them there now but it just is not and will not be for a long time to come.
Heard an interesting stat yesterday. That since 1975, we have only added 4% to a total of 24% of energy coming from renewables. It hasn't changed much. Even an engineer friend who works for a big utility said "it's just not there yet" with regard to replacing traditional sources of fuel. I fear we're going to find out the hard way.
