I got a new IMAC OSX 10.7 I installed microsoft office max 2011 on it. Every time i start up the computer firefox, microsoft word, microsoft powerpoint and itunes all open. I do not have them "ticked" to open in the dock. I do not have them selected as "login items", nor are they in the login items box - noting is. Please help! I'm going nuts about this. Also, when i close powerpoint by pressing the red "x" in the corner, it does nothing. I have to go to "powerpoint" then "quit powerpoint" to get it to go away. On another note, my IMAC has frozen 3 times since buying it 3 days ago, one such occasion was WHEN I WAS DOING THE INITIAL SETUP. I need this computer for university. I am at my wits end.
