I run between 5-10 miles per day during the week, and in the winter I can drain the battery 60% on a single run. That's with bluetooth, wifi and AOD off.

Sadly, the Apple Watch (non-Ultra) is likely not the watch for you. Someone using that much GPS on a daily basis should likely get the Ultra or just move to a Garmin that has less smart features and therefore more battery life.

I’d say your use case is exactly how Garmin and the like thrive still.

Same watch…. More expensive… 2 hours battery more perhaps.
Mostly useless, reminders are poor, there is no “body battery” as in Garmin, which is a super killer feature.
5g for a watch????.
Pathetic
Download the BodyState app - it’s a good copy of Body Battery.
