This is an interesting study illustrating how much more an Ipod would cost if it was manufactured domestically in the US.

I love my Apple products, but there seems to be a perception that because their stuff looks cool, Apple is a groovy company. It would be nice if Cupertino actually sacked up and acted like the rebellious company they like to portray themselves as.
 
What is so evil about an "evil iPod"? I don't care where the product is made, if they made them in England I still wouldn't get a lump in my throat as I bought one, knowing that this was made on my home turf. If anything these should be cheaper.
