Evo has an infinitely superior OS but the hardware is questionable. Wait for the Droid X next week if you're going to switch to Android.

But, in all seriousness, I think you'll be happier in the long run with the iPhone.

Evo 4G battery life is by most accounts horrendous, even without 4G.

The screens are already falling off.

Many are also becoming unresponsive if the device is grounded...

Yeah, it is flashy and nice... but its not anywhere near as well built as an iPhone will be.

The EVO is sold out most places and many are reporting that the screen is lifting from the phone. Go ahead....get one.

You can have my Evo. I will be returning it today to Radio Shack.

Battery life is terrible with 4G turned on.
Hotspot speeds are slow!
iOS interface is much better.
I have read many reports of the camera lens scratching easily.

Sorry was just venting my frustrations, just was finally confirmed for my 1st iPhone @ 7:55 PM after trying on and off all day, this old guy is going Hi-tech.

My EVO is sadly going back tomorrow night, from baltimore (4g).

I have these issues:
terrible service indoors (0 bars) outside I get 5.
4g is not much faster than 3g honestly, even with the hotspot stuff.
battery life is GOD AWFUL (And dont tell me about process killers, been there done that.)
Finally, the phone gets painfully hot, and its just a pain to use overall when the iphone syncing is easy and fast.
