Hi all, i recently got hold of the Evutec Karbon iphone 11 Pro max casing from Evutec themselves.

However after a day of use i notice a number of issues with the casing.

Wireless charging does not seem to work and i have tried this with a number of wireless chargers - Anker, Kogan Rapid base charger and Nomad base charging station.

Next, i experience slack/ looseness of the case on both the volume and power rockers lateral sides, this was not the case with my Xs Max and X. From memory, they fit like a glove without any give.

I would like to know if any of you out there have experienced the same thing with Evutec's latest case for the new iphone 11 pro?

I am highly disappointed with Evutec as it was once a company i immediately chose for all my iphone needs.

Thank you guys for the feedback!

I have the same case and same phone. Maybe you just received a faulty case, because mine works on my Mophie wireless charger without any fuss. The case seems to fit perfectly. I don’t feel it loose anywhere. I also had one for my XS Max and don’t notice any differences.

I have the same case but I have iPhone 11 pro got mine from amazon. No issues with it. In fact its Much better than my iPhone X version. I wasn’t to test wireless charging since I don’t own one.

I know the speaker cutouts on the XS Max were asymmetrical, which is what I want. How are they for the 11 pro max.

Thank you for your feedback. When you grab the case (with phone in it of course), do the sides creak/move? Mine does and is especially loose around the volume rockers.

Does not work with any wireless charger i have.

I may have gotten a faulty case. :(

When I hold the phone the case feels solid, not loose at all. Contact Evutec. I'm sure they will make it right.

I have this case coming tomorrow for my 11 Pro Max. I’m hoping there’s no slack and it’s very solidly built.

How is the magnetic mount for this case? Does the phone stay in place and doesn't it wiggle around when driving?

Just got the 11 Pro Max version from the mail now. The 10 S max was far superior. The TPU is not firm at all and it does not take much to pull away from the phone. I expected a lot more for $40

Not firm as in? Does the case creak along the sides as you squeeze the case/ pick it up?
Does wireless charging work ok on yours ?

No creaking and wireless charging works.
When I say firm, I mean there is slack in the tpu. Pulls from the phone too easily.

I see. Looks like they have tried producing the cases too quickly without proper QC. My replacement will be coming in soon from EVUTEC, from these feedback it doesn’t look too good.

Does the phone pop out of the case easily?

I prefer a case that takes effort to take off. This didn’t at all.
Sadly I’m returning

Same for me mate, it makes it worst when these cases dont come cheap and i've previously had other versions without any of the mentioned issues above. My suspicion is that these companies try to churn out their cases way before the launch of the actual iphone, hence cutting back on QC and actual fit of the case to the phone. a shame really.

Agree. There are cases for a fraction of the cost that seem to fit and feel much better and are also far more durable.

Any pictures?
sorry mate, case has been returned

i wouldnt mind the case if 1.) The sides are not loose especially around the vol and power rockers and if its fits just like the X or Xs Max.
2.) if wireless charging works

Mind you this case costs more than 50$ to australia.

Updates on my replacement case from Evutec, sides fit alot better without any creak/loosening of the case, however wireless charging is still intermittent. Sometimes it takes a couple of seconds before wireless charging can occur, sometimes its instant, sometimes doesnt work at all. Quite a disappointment, case also seems to be smoother/change of texture compared to Xs Max and X.

I am going to give this another run, and hopefully fined my daily driver

I really liked this case for my XR got it for $20AUD, they want $79 for a new pro one here, not worth it imo. It's the only case i have never been able to re sell too.

Ask and ye shall receive 😉
