Honestly? I liked the way my Apple rendered clouds in pictures that my gf took on her iphone 6 so I got an iphone 6S+ and haven't looked back since.

First was an HTC Hero, then Samsung Prevail, then later Droid, HTC M8, Sony Experia, and Samsung Galaxy flagships and Notes. First iPhone was actually the 5, then 4, then 5C, 6, 7 and now XR. Truth be told I got an iPhone because my boyfriend (now husband) had one, same reason I got my first iPad.

When I realized the smoothness, (and back then superior build quality), of the UI, I found I leaned towards Apple devices and slowly phased out Android devices. The smoothness of the UI and the seamless integration across the platform are the reasons that my last Android was a Note 5, and no plans to go back to Android, apart from a fling that I might entertain with the new Note.

Honestly I prefer the Android OS and I prefer top tier Samsung devices. Just don’t love the Android/Samsung UI. Hate the lag. Hate the endless performance variations. Same like Windows. The only windows machine I could ever buy again is the Surface.
