Is the size of the case the same as the previous version. I am thinking of cases, which are going to be hard to get hold of for a few months. Of course I am not going to need a case as much as I usually do for the next few months, at least.

Answer to my old question, found in old files:

Current MacBook Air:

Height: 0.16–0.63 inch (0.41–1.61 cm)

Width: 11.97 inches (30.41 cm)

Depth: 8.36 inches (21.24 cm)

2019:

16-.61 x 11.97 x 8.36

So the new one is ever so slightly higher at the highest point. Should make no difference for soft cases and sleeves. But hard cases and shells, watch out.

.16-.61 x 11.97 x 8.36
