I am using the Windows version of Excel for a project and having a little trouble figuring Excel out. The project calls for using the random number generator for data in a table. I used the generator for two columns in the table and now everytime I enter a number into a different column, the columns I used the generator keeps on generating new random numbers even though I need to keep those numbers the same. Help please?

excel help

highlight the cells with your random numbers
click EDIT > COPY >
leave the cells highlighted and click EDIT >PASTE SPECIAL
select the radio button for VALUES, then OK

Your random numbers will now be values only and will not change when other data are entered on the sheet.
