I just worked for over an hour on this workbook and now it keeps defaulting to Read-Only status. It is fine if I keep the name "Workbook 1" but as soon as I change it to what I really want it to be named, it goes Read-Only and I don't know how to either A. change it back or B. make it stop doing that.

Can anyone out there help please?

Thank you!

On the Review tab, see if you've accidentally enabled protection or set it as Read Only Recommended mode.

Nope... see attached photo. Everything was fine until I renamed it then it set to Read-Only and as you can see, the box is not checked.
