excel file index broken

I have 500-100 excel files. with spotlight search i enter keyword to find it through my xlsx library. Sometimes, index finds wrong files that do not contain the keyword.

are my xls files broken or that is a problem of mac spotlight I need to fix ?
 
Could be Spotlight index is borked. Give this a try in Terminal:

sudo mdutil -i on /
