I think its the latest update to Excel, though its quite possible it may be related to the latest update to OS X.

Either way, I'm dealing with an issue that basically stops Excel from being usable. When I enter the first charachter into a cell, be it a number, letter or equals sign. Its not being accepted. That is, if I type 1234 into cell A1, I only see 234.

I'm going to uninstall/reinstall but its extremely frustrating. Anyone else come across this?

Seems to be working alright for me. Am I on the same version as you?

I'm on the same version now (I have no idea what I was on but I thought I was current). It was an odd problem to be sure, I rebooted and tried other things to correct the issue.

I finally deleted Office from my computer (both the apps and stuff in ~/Library) and reinstalled. That seemed to work.
