Anyone got a solution to this? I just want to set excel to auto-capitalize the first letter of each sentence. Seems easy enough and there's even an option to do this under 'preferences'. I've checked all the correct boxes and made sure there's no 'exceptions' (see screenshot attached) but it doesn't work!

(And before anyone suggests it, I need the auto-cap to function as I work - not the type of option that the 'Proper' function gives to capitalize afterwards.

Thanks.

The options selected should work, looks like there's an issue/bug with your Excel copy? Even Microsofts help pages suggest you do what you already have.

I guess you could use the Shift key.

I assume your "workflow" does not include that.

I would have to train myself not to use it.
