At school, we always get a .xls file (posted online on our school's learning platform, Blackboard) with the schedule of that week.
Which courses, which auditorium, the time etc ...

Every week, I go through the process of opening the .xls and inserting everything manually into iCal, which can sometimes take up to 10 minutes and is quite tedious to say the least. (I do this so I have all the info on my iPhone as well, which is really handy when I'm at school and wondering what course I have next and where I should be etc ...)

So now I was wondering if there is any way to export this .xls somehow and import it into iCal automatically, so I don't have to do it manually anymore.

Thanks in advance!

I don't know how extensive Numbers' AppleScript functionality is, but you may be able to do this with an extremely complicated AppleScript. You're on your own there, though. It's probably easier just to do it yourself.

Then again, if you're like me, easier isn't the point. ;)
