no. everything to do with the screen - resolution and max brightness are hardware related

there are two, and only two ways to view files:
via email or air sharing, datacase etc

To add, I've used both Air Sharing, which works from multiple platforms, and FileMagnet (Mac only right now, but they will be making a PC version).

Both have their strengths and weaknesses.

Personally, I prefer FileMagnet's linking better. On the Touch, Air Sharing has a little nice interface when moving between folders.

Right now, for me, FileMagent comes out on top.
