Excel Opening At Login?

    Hi;

    Ever since installing Mavericks I have been having problems with Office Documents my main problem is corrupted documents on my USB Stick but I think the problem may be the stick itself i'll post separately?

    This problem is that every time I login either Word opens or Excel?? These programs are not setup as login items in my preferences?

    Any idea why and how do I stop this??

    Option (or right) click on the Excel or Word icon, point to options and de-select open at login.
