I have 2.1 firmware and works fine, some times it looks like the Quicktime Player is stalled, just give it a min or 2 and when play button becomes bright white click on it 🙂

I'm watching an episode of weeds right now over wi-fi, and its working great after giving it a minute or two to load. I've never tried it on edge or 3G though, so I can't say if it has to be wi-fi, but it certainly works on wi-fi
