I have a 13inch MBP 2014.
I upgraded to High Sierra.
Since then my battery life has went from 6 hours to 4 hrs before dying.
This is my first upgrade on MAC. On Windows it would take a few days after a update for a PC to get back to normal battery life.
Is MAC the same?
If not can someone give me pointers on what to adjust/turn off to get my battery life back?

It shouldn't take much longer than an hour (if even that) for Spotlight to index your computer after an upgrade.

1. Turn your brightness down. Full brightness will use your battery very quickly
2. Use Safari. Chrome and Firefox have improved but are both more power-hungry
3. Don't capitalize 'MAC'. It's just Mac.
