There are reports of excessive heat while charging the 15P/PM especially when it’s done wireles. How do you charge? Wired or not? What about heat?

I have a ESR MagSafe stand which cools my phone down as it’s charging, and it has kept its word. My iPhone isn’t hot when I remove it once it hit 100%.

I use the same 5 watt Apple charger I have been using for years. Charging is slow but works great for overnight. if I need a quick charge, there are multiple chargers for my iPads and laptops available now we are USB-C.

Do you use the 80% limit?

As of now, no! I will likely in the future as I only use about 25-30% of my battery each day and have not need to charge to 100%. I trade phones yearly but am seeing less and less technical advances so I might just keep the 15 for two years. I do not think the iPhone 16 will be a giant leap ahead of the 15
