Ive been trying to decide between the 13" and 15" for a while now and this thread has been really useful - Thanks!

Ordered the 15" today! :apple:

I think your decision comes down to a very easy question: are you happy with the size of a 15" laptop?

If yes, definitely get the 15" RMBP. SOOOOO much more bang for your buck.

If no, well I'd say consider if the 13" RMBP is worth the money, but you already bought it, so I assume the answer is yes. It's a great computer, no doubt, and I don't think you would be unhappy with it at all.

I was in a similar situation. I decided that no, the 15" is too big for me (SIZE, not weight). Then I decided that the 13" RMBP is too pricey for what it is - I'm not willing to pay for it. Gonna go pick up a 13" cMBP today, and feeling good about it!

I've had a 13" rMBP for a little over a week now. I just went to the Apple Store and checked out the 15" rMBP (again). Ended up ordering a CTO 15" rMBP. The 13" is going back. At the end of the day it's just a really, really terrible value. I lug my computer around with me each day, and portability was key. But the reduced weight of the new 15" models and the slightly smaller footprint really make them quite portable. And you literally (yes, literally) are getting twice the computer for the same money. If the 13" had a 16GB option and came with 256GB SSD standard, I might've changed my mind. But hell, even the salesperson agreed the 15" is a way better value. I wonder how many of these have been returned.

Well I dont think id be alone in saying I saw the 15" get released and I was really impressed, price is high but I dont mind paying for a good quality machine, however in the back of my mind was "I'll wait for the 13"....

But then the 13" was released and there was just no excitement there, it just didnt have the specs ...

So the 15" was ordered!
