exchange a replacement laptop

I just received a replacement laptop that Customer Relations at AppleCare, they replaced my laptop with a brand new 2.0 Ghz Macbook.

If I took it to an Apple Store would they exchange it for the 2.4 Macbook?

They MIGHT credit you for amount, so you might be able to pay just the difference.

Does not hurt to try.

If it's unopened they may do it if you can provide the case number; you'll need to pay the difference though.
