If i set-up an corporate email account on an iPhone, is that information "backed-up" ? I know the emails, contacts and calendar appointments are technically stored on the exchange servers, but it sounds like iCloud does full backups, so its possible that corporate email data would be backed up onto Apple Servers. Does anyone know if this is true or could recommend who I should contact to find out? I doubt regular Apple Support would know

I ask because our IT department will have to start dealing people who want to use iCloud and I need to know what the answer is. As we are a HIPAA organization, it is vital that we know what happens to our data

For a reliable answer for something of this nature, I would ask Apple directly. You do not want to second guess if someone here provided the right or wrong answer when it comes to HIPPA.
