Ok, I am having the strangest issue with my new(ish) iPad 4. Often when I type on the iPad keyboard, it autocorrects a comma and turns it into an exclamation point. I'd say this happens at least 75% of the time I type a comma, and I can't find a pattern for when and why. I could not find this issue addressed anywhere but it is driving me crazy! If I don't catch it, it makes me seem a bit loopy when I write an email.

Anyone have any insight? It did it for the first two commas above, but not the third one...

You may be holding down the comma for a fraction of a second too long. If you hold it down, you'll see an exclamation point float above; it's a shortcut to use instead of going into the alternative keyboard of symbols. I know this might be some weird advice, but can you type a bit quicker? It's such a Steve Jobs retort, I know (you're holding it wrong!), but it's the only thing I can think of other than it being a bug.
