Hey all,

I'm trying to pair an apple watch 6 with my iPhone. I get the error "iPhone is out of date". Clicking the the learn more (linked below), it claims I need an iPhone 8 with iOS 16 or later. The attached screen show shows that I have an iPhone 11 with iSO 16.1.1. So why am I getting this error? How do I fix this?

Try updating your phone to the latest iOS (16.5 I believe) and it should work!

Edit: Just looked at the attached link and under the "Before you begin" section it says make sure your iPhone is up to date.

I think the iPhone needs to be as or more up to date as the watch. So if the watch is on 9.1 and the phone is on 16.5, you'll be able to pair them, but if the watch is on 9.5 and the phone on 16.1, it doesn't work and you need to update the phone.
