Very new to the ShortCut app. Would appreciate your help.

Developed my first iphone ShortCut using the ShortCut app.
Moved new ShortCut to the iphone Home Page.

When I run the ShortCut, it flashes the ShortCut library, the source code of the app, and then runs the
app.

1. Can it just run the app WITHOUT showing the library and source code first?
2. Also is there a way to change the backround as the app is running.

Again, thanks for your help.

Do not think it's possible. Or more accurately, I have not seen a way to do this.

Only time I've seen Shortcuts not drop into the code is a Shortcut I have that runs from the widget that turns on Do-Not-Disturb and starts a couple of GPS/running apps at the start of a workout. Otherwise, if the Shortcut prompts for something, goes into the code, from what I've seen.

Thanks for your reply. New to these shortcuts.
Can you recommend any good sources of info that might help me develop/better understand the ShortCuts app.

Thanks again,

I myself have not seen any real Shortcut how-tos.

Might want to go through the following thread to see some examples. Also, the gallery within Shortcuts.

Thanks again.
Did most of the Gallery within ShortCuts. I was able to embellish some of them to get an understanding of how to develop/execute a shortcut.
Will look at the link you provided.
I guess the people developing ShortCuts are a small universe.

If you tick the ‘Show in widget’ option and run the Shortcut from the lock screen widgets then the Shortcut app is not launched automatically.

It will launch if the Shortcut requires it, but, for example, I have a Shortcut to calculate MPG when I fill up my car and it all runs in the lock screen.
