I am recovering from Achilles surgery and have been using a rollator (walker) to get around. My problem is that the exercise app is not giving me credit for the exercise I've been doing.

Since I exercised previously, I know what it takes to close my circles, but with my collator, my outdoor walk only closes a fraction of the total expended. Maybe it's because I'm not swinging my arms as I would've, but that can't be avoided.

I thought of the app's different settings, but the closest I get is 'wheelchair' and that's not what I'm using.

Anyone have any suggestions?

If you don’t move yours arms its got nothing to go on. You have to walk a minimum certain speed for it to count. I bet you’re not quick enough unfortunately. You may need to stick to the wheelchair one?

Thanks! The wheelchair choice says it depends on the distance traveled by pushing the wheelchair. Don't know that that will be different but I'll try.

Another option would be to choose the “Other Workout “ and set it for “time”. I had to do this to allow me to walk at my usual pace.

I've used the"other" setting but am not sure what you mean about the time setting.

mid you go to workouts other on the watch, you can choose time. I set mine for 30 minutes when I stationary bike or walk.
