Exercise ring doesn’t budge

Ever since watchOS 5.0.1 my Exercise ring doesn’t budge. It literally stays at 0/30 minutes, some days it will move to 1/30 minutes. Friends of mine are also seeing this. Anyone else?

During your “excercise” is your heart rate elevating to the point that it recognizes your activity as excercise?

Have you restarted your watch? I had that issue but a restart resolved it.

Same here, issues with getting full credit for exercise time and screen sometimes freezes for a short time when opening Activity Ring App. Done everything but Unpair. On 5.0.1.

So are you running, swimming, biking or what kind of cardio/exercise?? and using the Workout app?

If it were a universal problem, then indeed it could be a 5.0.1 bug. However, this isn't a problem my S4 on 5.0.1 has, nor, judging by the sparsity of responses to this thread, is it a problem being widely experienced.

I would look for something that isn't directly related to the current iOS.

Re-Paired and App still freezes for 8-10 seconds after opening. Haven't yet tested exercise minutes not registering correctly during Indoor Walk.
