Exhibition Stand Posters/Display Advice

I'm scanning an article about PDFs that might have something that helps... bit of a long shot, but I'll e-mail it over to you when I've finished scanning...

Also, ensure you match up all the colour profiles of all the items.

I don't think I can use the photoshop EPS format as it doesn't save the transparencies. Am looking into it.

I am 100% that the image profiles match up in CMYK. First thing I checked (thanks to learning about colour profiles off the forum 🙂 )

Haha 😛 Cheers, I thought you had already ripped this before anyway 😀 😀

You know I think it might be something on the printers end. I'm guessing the printer converts it when it receives it! I will have a deeper look into the laser printers settings but I'm restricted as my user account at school is and I can't print from my mac.

I might post pics later to show what was happening.
I changed the colour settings on the printer as it was set to use different settings for the photos, graphics and text...

lol, simple as that in the end then, still doesnt explain the difference between draft and standard prints on my end though 🙄
 
I know incredibly annoying after all that lol, Thanks a lot for the serious help anyway!
Also found more settings that it was set to add an edge around the vectors AND the background was only printing in 1 colour (black) instead of 4!
So it was just 21K I believe.
In 4 colours it came out very greeny so I just changed everything to 1 colour (was still in colour and fine though :/ ). Worked!

Just one of 'those things' I guess, trial and error.
I'll post some pics of everything in action over the weekend!
