Existing .mac user can't use @mac.com

    Hi

    I have been having ongoing communications with mobileme support. (lucky me) about various stuff, upgrading, credit card charges etc. and it now looks like both my accounts are up and running...... with one slight problem..... they only accept @me.com. My existing @mac.com doesn't work, it will only work with @me.com

    My two @mac.com are still working. This is the only e-mail everyone knows about and I have not had any issues using them.

    They have always said they will continue to suppot the .mac email address. If they plan to turn it off, they would have to give everyone at least 6 months notice to convert.. but since they own the name- I think they will always support it.

    my @mac.com address has also been turned of.

    My @me.com works but my @mac.com is not even recognized as a valid address.

    Mobileme has lost 18 months of my emails.

    Oh yes all my .mac emails have gone as well!
