Existing Verizon customers CANNOT preorder iPhone by adding a line on 3rd!

Just had a live chat with a Verizon rep, I know I know, so take it for what it is worth. I asked if I use my upgrade on the 3rd to get the iPhone would I be able to add a line to my account and get two iPhones and she said yes. She also reiterated first come first serve on the pre-orders. So, I will be able to upgrade to get my iPhone and I will be able to add a line and get my fiance one too. At least thats what she told me, she very well could have misunderstood me and or is incorrect because I have had many experience with Verizon reps being wrong.

Ok I did that and added a line. The lady asked why I was doing it and I flat out told her it was to preorder the iphone. She said "Oh, that's a good idea"

Anyway has anyone else tried to get on Verizon's website? It is extremely slooowww right now. I'm trying to see what it says on my added line if it says I can upgrade or not, but the page is just in this endless loop and does not load. Makes me wonder how bad the 3rd is going to be.

Edited to add: I finally got to my verizon and it says I can upgrade now. Woohoo! Anyway, it is not showing my 20% off anymore. I called Verizon again and asked why, they said that it still shows I have 20% off, but that their system is having issues right now. Great...

well a Verizon rep that I spoke with suggested that I add a line and that other customers were doing the same. but I will use my annual upgrade in the store to keep the confusion down. good luck!
