    Saw this in the refurb store this morning:

    100GB Hard Drive & 1GB of RAM for original config? $949?? Has a mini ever been that expensive in any stock form? Think the 100GB & Gig of RAM is the new base config?

    Yeah I saw that too. I was like WTF?

    I picked up the base mini 1.66ghz and threw in a 2.33ghz Core 2 duo. Cost a little more than that one. LOL!

    Oh but its freakin FAST >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

    Yes. $949 was the retail cost of a dual-1.66 with 1GB RAM and a 100GB HD upgrade as of about a year ago.

    This is the one I bought about 54 weeks ago for $850 refurb. Does seem a bit high today, though.

    Yea.. so much for the mini being a sub $500 machine.
