Yeah I saw that too. I was like WTF?

I picked up the base mini 1.66ghz and threw in a 2.33ghz Core 2 duo. Cost a little more than that one. LOL!

Yes. $949 was the retail cost of a dual-1.66 with 1GB RAM and a 100GB HD upgrade as of about a year ago.
 
This is the one I bought about 54 weeks ago for $850 refurb. Does seem a bit high today, though.
