Experience for watching movies through mini display

So guys what is your experience for watching movies through Mini display, mine is kinda bad, laggy & slack on the quality even tho i put it on 1080p and highest hz?

So what about you? 🙂

It could be your TV doing some fancy PQ processing. Try turning off any processing the TV is trying to do.

Using a new philips tv, tryed with and older LG tv did the same thing, so i think it has something to do with the computer that can't handle the movies or its the plug i put into the Mini display port.

Edit: but gonna try to deactive everything to see what happens.

Thank you for your inputs everyone, there was this little hidden menu in the tv called " Pc mode " and it was ticked over to off ... it was deep burried in the menu, again thanks alot this has been annoying the for a couple of weeks now!
