I'm going to return my new 2.2Ghz MBP because of the yellowish tint toward the bottom of the screen (better described here). What I want to know is of those who have returned or exchanged a Mac (particularly a Macbook Pro) for an issue with the display (dead pixels, uneven lighting, yellow, grain) how many of you faced issues with the return? Did the Apple Store employees seem reluctant or hesitant to do the exchange or return? Did they claim to not see the issue you described? Were they OK with you checking the new product in the store to see if it was free of defects? I'm just trying to figure out the best way of exchanging my new MBP for one that doesn't appear yellow toward the bottom of the display (and doesn't have any other issues for that matter). Others claim to have a perfect new SR MBP... I'd like to get one too.
