Hi!
I have a late 2011 21" iMac (i5, 4GB RAM)
I was just wondering what everyone's experiences have been with upgrading their RAM.
Is the performance boost worth it? Or have you noticed a performance boost at all? I'm unsure if I should increase to 8 or 16 GB
I dont do any video or rendering of any sort. But I do some photography and use lightroom fairly often. Also I am now dual booting to windows 7 for a bit of (light) gaming.

Any advice would be appreciated :)

You will likely notice the difference with more RAM, however a SSD is likely to make a more noticeable difference.

It is almost silly to consider anything less than 16 GB, as your needs will likely grow, and 8 GB sticks are reasonably cheap.
