HI folks....
I just ran the disk utility and it gives me that bit of annoying "should be a 1 instead of zero, unable to exit correctly or something or other..disk needs repair" thing.
Of course, when I use the install disk, it tells me there's nothing amiss and it passes verification...no repairs needed.
This is the second time this happened in the past week and the first time altogether since I got the macbook in august
So I run the Onyx routine for the hell of it and now it seems the problem disappeared. I think I did the same thing last week when it happened and it fixed whatever was wrong.
So whats going on here? OK, sure I should get disk warrior and I will..but just why in the hell does the bloody disk utility made by the company that makes the OS play this little game of.."needs fixing" off the mac hd, then
"doesn't need fixing" when booted from the install disk?? Grrrrrrr.
Thanks 🙂
